Help with your code
There's no password. You use your three-time code. It's in your receipt, gift or invitation email. If you bought from the app's icon, tap Confirm and open the app on the thank-you page and the app sets itself up, with no code to type. On any other device, enter the code on livingstudies.app/code, then tap Open the app. You only do this once on each device.
My three-time code doesn't work
Type it exactly as in the email (capital letters or not doesn't matter, and the dashes are optional). Each code works 3 times in total, on up to 3 different devices. Each time it's accepted counts, even on the same device. After 3 uses it stops working. On a device you already set up, the app keeps working. Need it on another device after that? Write to us. After 5 wrong tries, entry pauses for 15 minutes. Need a fresh code? Write to us.
My code email didn't arrive
It can take a minute or two. Check your spam or junk folder, and search your mail for "Living Studies". It goes to the email you typed when you paid. Still nothing? Write to us.
Someone gave me the app
Open the link in the gift email and tap Accept and open the app. You can accept it with any email you like; we email you a 6-digit code to finish. If you use the same email the gift was sent to, you can enter the gift's three-time code on livingstudies.app/code instead. Still stuck? Write to us.
It says I'm on too many devices
Each licence works on up to 3 devices at once (for example a phone, a tablet and a computer). In the app, go to About → Licence and devices to see your devices and remove one. Removing a device signs it out. Setting it up again uses your code again, and the code works 3 times in total. Need more? Write to us.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Once the app is set up, open it from its icon while you're online and keep it open until it says Available offline (about 85 MB, saved by itself). After that it works offline and doesn't lock while you're offline. It quietly checks your licence whenever you're online.
I lost my download link
Enter your three-time code on livingstudies.app/code to get your download. Or open the app, go to About → Licence and devices, and tap Get a new download link, or Email me a three-time code (that emails you a new three-time code; your uses so far carry over). Download links work for 7 days.
Family plan: how do I add people?
The person who paid opens the app, goes to About → Licence and devices, and types each person's email under Family plan. They get an email invitation. You can remove a person and invite someone else.
A gift went to the wrong email
Write to us from the email you bought with, and tell us the right address. We'll send the gift there.
